Again on a step
Again sits between Not now… and Next on the step's card, and is also on the Lock Screen card and the watch.
It appears only where doing the step again changes something: the step has a count, a timer, or something it does when it is reached or when its time runs out.
To give a step a count, open it, then Settings → How many times, and set Do it. Counts decides what happens when the run leaves the step and comes back: Each visit starts again, The whole run carries on. Again goes away when the count is used up; Next never does.
To take Again off the Lock Screen card, turn off Repeat in the routine's Settings → Live Activity.
Again on a finished run
A finished run's page has Reopen, Again and Delete. Again starts a new run from the first step, and the old one stays as it was. Again later… plans one for In an hour, This evening, Tomorrow or Next week.
Rounds
- Open the routine, then its row of steps.
- Press the plus, then Rounds. It is offered once the routine has two steps.
- Choose From and To. The same step in both is one step going round.
- Choose A set number and how many, or Until I stop.
- Press Done. The sheet shows how many steps a run will have.
When a run starts, it writes the rounds out as separate steps, named like "Stretch · round 2 of 4". Each round keeps its own notes and values. With Until I stop, the run writes one round. For another, open the run's list of steps, press the plus, then Another round.
Change a step on the routine, and every round made from it follows. Change one round inside a run, say 26 minutes instead of 25, and the band counts it. Keep writes it into the step the rounds come from. See Keep or Only here.
When something goes wrong
- There is no Again. The step has nothing to do again, or its count is used up. Give it a count or a timer.
- Rounds is missing from the plus. The routine has rounds already. The Rounds row on its list of steps changes them.
- A going run has no rounds. They are written when a run starts.
